DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA GRAPHICAL INTERFACES AND APPLICATIONS

Sažetak

Interaktivna multimedijska sučelja i aplikacije budućnost su komunikacije te samog korištenja računala i prijenosnih uređaja. Razvoj touch i non-touch tehnologije kao i sama potreba za više korisničkim (eng. multi user)/više dodirnim (eng. multi touch) vizualnim grafičkim sučeljima je u velikom porastu. Ulazne jedinice poput miša i tipkovnice polako postaju nepotrebne jer se interakcija vrši na direktnoj i gestikularnoj razini bez dodatnih posrednih uređaja što uvelike utječe na grafički izgled aplikacija. Razvoj tehnologije povećava značaj i stavlja naglasak na dizajn sučelja kao jedinog posrednika između programskih procedura, algoritama i samog korisnika. Grafičko sučelje dobiva na značaju i kao takvo ima bitnu ulogu u adaptaciji novih interaktivnih sustava. Budućnost predstavljaju Interaktivne multi user/multi touch aplikacije koje mogu biti primjenjive na više različitih platformi i uređaja istovremeno. Aplikacija tog tipa prati razvoj tehnologija i potrebe društva te zadovoljava više platformni (eng. multi platform) razvoj.

Abstract

Interactive multimedial applications are the future of communication and the use of computers and portable devices. Development of touch screen and non-touch technology, as well as need for multi-user / multi-touch visual graphic interfaces is in increasing rapidly. Input devices like mouse and keyboard are slowly becoming unnecessary because the interaction is done on direct and gesticular level without additional intermediary devices which has a great impact on the visual design of the application. Development of technology increases and puts a greater accent on the interface design mainly because it is the only mediator between software procedures, algorithms and the user him self. For practical part of this thesis interactive multi user/multi touch application is beeing developed, that can be applied to more different platforms and devices at the same time. That type of application is following the development of technology and the need of society as well as assures multi platform development.

Patrik Ervells latest collection is ironically titled “Software”ADIDAS ORIGINALS TUBULAR SHADOW.
