Sažetak

Radom pod nazivom “ Primjena novih tiskarskih tehnologija – IRD tehnologije u službi dizajnerskih inovacija u oblikovanju poštanske marke” ukazuje se, na primjeru jedne poštanske marke tiskane IRD tehnologijom, na potrebu i nužnost suodnosa inovacija i u tisku i u dizajnu.Odnosi se to na tehnološki i idejni kreativni proces u svrhu realizacije određenog proizvoda, u ovom slučaju specifi čnog i iznimno podatnog medija poštanske marke. Primjena i mogućnost dvostruke slike koja se postiže ovom tehnologijom u tisku ima u tom slučaju višestruki učinak za ovakav medij široke uporabe – i na polju zaštite i na polju komunikacije poruka koje se medijem poštanske marke želi i može komunicirati. Budućnost ovakve tehnologije tiska i njeno korištenje u dizajnu poštanskih maraka kao i drugih tiskanih komunikacijskih materijala promišlja i otvara brojne druge mogućnosti u komunikacijskoj domeni i društvenoj primjeni s obzirom na očitu dominaciju i moći slike danas.

Abstract

The paper entitled “Application of new printing technologies – IRD printing technology as the additional innovative tool in the design of a postage stamp” elaborates on the need and necessity for innovative approach in both printing technologies and design through the usage of IRD technology in the stamp design. Referring specifi cally to synergy and correlation between the technological and conceptual creative processes for the purpose of the realization of a particular product, in this case – the unique media of a postage stamp. Th e possibility of creation of the duplicate images on a single postage stamp that can be achieved with this technology opens up multiple application possibilities of this medium – in the fi eld of protection, as well as in the fi eld of communication. Th is particular printing technology and its use in the design of stamps and other printed media, opens up many new possibilities in visual communication, taking the full advantage of the power and apparent dominance of images today.
