Sažetak

Danas postoji sve više sustava za iscrtavanje 2D/3D grafi ke i u tom mnoštvu vrlo je teško izabrati najbolji. Sustav za iscrtavanje 3D grafi ke koristeći razne matematičke algoritme 3D objekte iz 3D scene iscrtava u 2D sliku. U ovome radu prikazano je testiranje nekoliko vrsti sustava za iscrtavanje 3D grafi ke unutar 3D programskog paketa za modeliranje i animaciju Blender. Testirani su sustavi za grafi ku u stvarnom vremenu te grafi ku “sliku po sliku”, korištenjem više različitih 3D scena koje su sve napravljene unutar Blendera. Fokus je stavljen na fotorealističnost prikaza 2D slike i brzinu samog iscrtavanja. Neki od testiranih sustava su Blender Internal, Yafaray, Luxrender, Cycles, Mitsubi. Svi ti sustavi su OpenSource i jedan od ciljeva ovog rada je upravo provjera mogućnosti besplatnog softvera naspram komercijalnih rješenja.

Abstract

Today, a variety of 2D/3D rendering engines exists, and it is very diffi cult to choose the best among them. A 3D graphics render engine transforms 3D objects from a 3D scene into 2D images, by using diff erent mathematical algorithms. Th is article shows testing several types of 3D graphics render engines within Blender 3D modelling/animation tool. Off -line and real-time renderers were tested, using several diff erent 3D scenes, that were all created within Blender. Th e focus is put to fotorealistic quality of the 2D image and to the speed of rendering. Some of the tested render engines are Blender Internal, Yafaray, Luxrender, Cycles, Mitsubi. All of these systems are OpenSource, and one of the aims of this work is also to check the possibilities of the free software vs. commercial options.
