Objektivizacija definiranja ikoničnosti portretnih fotografija dobivenih promjenama vrijednosti R, G, B kanala

Sažetak

Fotografija se doživljava kao medij izrazito visokog stupnja ikoničnosti. Međutim, fotografski sustavi, a pogotovo digitalni fotografski sustav, omogućuju različite manipulacije. Pri tome su specifične manipulacije R, G, B kanalima u mjeri da se fotografija i dalje doživljava ikonično. U radu se analizira mogućnost objektivizacije definiranja ikoničnosti portretne fotografije. Temeljem prethodnih ispitivanja mijenjanjem vrijednosti kanala digitalnog zapisa testne portretne fotografije za +/- 3% te se dobivene fotografije analiziraju vizualo temeljem ankete te određivanjem DE00 razlike standardnih boja kože. Za digitalne se zapise fotografija određuju SSIM indeksi kao mjera sličnosti te se dobiveni rezultati komparativno analiziraju.

Objectivization of defining iconic character of the portrait photographs obtained by changes in the value of R, G, B channels

Abstract

The photography is perceived as medium of extremely high degree of Iconicity. However, photographic systems, especially digital photography system, allow different manipulations. In this manipulation of R, G, B channels to the extent that the photo is still perceived iconic is specific. This paper analyzes the possibility of objectivization of defining the Iconicity of the portrait photography. Based on preliminary testing by changing the channel value of the digital image of test portrait photographs for +/- 3%, the resulting images are analyzed on the basis of the visual survey, determining differences DE00 of standard skin color. SSIM indexes are determined for digital photo records as a measure of similarity, and the obtained results are comparatively analyzed.
