Sažetak

Sve veći i raznolikiji razvoj digitalnih fotografskih sustava doveo je do potrebe za razvojem novih metoda kvantitativne procjene kvalitete slike (image quality assesment odnosno IQA). Te se metode dijele u dvije velike skupine – no reference i full reference metode. Prva skupina metoda se temelji na uočavanju i promjeni karakteristika digitalnih zapisa fotografske slike pri čemu ne postoji referentni uzorak odnosno original koji bi se koristio za usporedbu. Ideja tih metoda se temelji na činjenici da svaka slika ima neke mjerljive tehničke karakteristike koje značajno utječu na njenu kvalitetu. Druga skupina metoda su one koje uspoređuju promatranu sliku s referentnom slikom odnosno originalom koji se smatra „savršenim“. Na taj način se uspješno mogu ustanoviti razlike između „savršenog“ originala i u konačnici kvantificirati promjena u kvaliteti. Cilj je ovog rada dati pregled najčešće korištenih za kvantitativnu procjenu kvalitete digitalnog zapisa fotografske slike te ukazati na njihove prednosti i nedostate te trendove u njihovom razvoju.

Methods for image quality assesment in digital photography

Abstract

Ever growing and diverse development of digital photographic systems created a need to develop ne methods that could quantify image quality (image quality assesment or IQA). Those methods are divided into two major groups – no reference and full reference methods. The first group of methods is based on detecting changes in certain characteristics of digital photographic images without using a reference image for comparison. The idea of those methods is that every image has a number of measurable characteristics which significantly affect their quality. The other major group is of those methods that compare an observed image with a reference image which is considered to be „perfect“. In such manner it is possible to determine diferences between a „perfect“ original and an observed image. The goal of this paper is to give a short review of the most commonly used methods that enable a quantitative quality assesment of digital photographic image and also show their strenghts and weaknesses and also try to determine their future development.

Patrik Ervells latest collection is ironically titled “Software”ADIDAS ORIGINALS TUBULAR SHADOW. In the notes from the presentation, Ervell says he was interested in developing tension between nostalgia and sci-fi,NIKE ZOOM WINFLO 3 and even included 90s cyberpunk amongst his influences. Ervell developed this point of view by creating an imaginary software company called Idegen software systems. He then re-appropriated the company’AIR JORDAN XXXI MENs logo in several of the collection’s garments. Elsewhere,MBT TARIKI MEN mohair coats with oversized lapels made an appearance alongside mock neck tees,NIKE AIR JORDAN RETRO 5 police-inspired ribbed sweaters,MBT FORA GTX WOMEN flight bombers, and polyurethane leather coats. The setting was also suitably dystopian, and the resulting ambiance was something akin to if the creators of Deutschland 83 and Hackers met up and decided to create a collection… We mean that as a compliment.Yesterday afternoon,JORDAN CP3 IX MEN artist JR spent the day working on his latest collaborative piece with Daniel Arsham in Greenpoint,NIKE AIR MAX 90 Brooklyn,MBT KIMONDO GTX MEN NYC. Connecting the lines between art, architecture, dance and theater, Daniel Arsham has been known to subvert existing architectural structures in unconventional,NIKE CLASSIC CORTEZ NYLON playful ways; confusing and confounding the expectations of space and form.
