Researching the perception of E-literature by students, teachers and publishers

Ida Juranić, Sergej Lugović

In everyday teaching teachers are challenged to choose the contents they will use. Students are basically oriented towards contents published in electronic form and their use via the Internet by using equipment such as laptops, tablet PCs, smart phones and other new technologies. The newly created situation produces new environments for teaching that have not yet been defined precisely, and different interested parties have different perceptions of this. Publishers make efforts to maintain their profit earned by selling books, teachers fall into the group that is between the publishers and student desires, and students wish to consume E-teaching literature and contents in the same manner they consume other contents. The goal of this paper is to pose a question, send it to students, publishers and teachers and on basis of this question to try and see in which areas all the three interested parties comprehend the challenges of E-teaching literature from similar points of view, and where their opinions differ. By statistical questionnaire processing we would obtain answers to questions on E-teaching literature perception, and we would also obtain potential guidelines for development in this area.
