Rad razmatra drugi aspekt infracrvene zaštite smještajući i problem i proces u domenu informatike i obrade informacija.

Informatic aspects of Infrared design security

Ivan Pogarčić, Maja Gligora Marković, Ivana Žiljak Stanimirović

Infrared security on a product represents an original solution not only in respect to its design, or the protection mark for the product, but provides also the possibility of steganographic communication in general. Although a certain impression of conspirativeness is achieved in this manner, the aspect of security itself should be observed firstly regardless of the motive and the goal for application. The paper examines the other aspect of infrared protection placing both the issue and the process in the domain of informatics and information processing. Material manifestation of the steganographic solution for the object secured with infrared protection without any doubt has its own characteristics when it is observed as a virtual or memory object. By measuring spectral characteristics of objects protected with infrared security, we would like to point to the fact that such protection must contain encoded specifics and point towards the necessity to treat such objects when they are used in communication.
