Adaptacija sigurnih web boja za tiskarsko okruženje

U procesu reprodukcije digitalnog zapisa na tiskani medij dolazi do prebacivanja sustava boja iz aditivnog u substraktivno miješanje boja, pri čemu može doći do nepoželjne kolorimetrijske razlike između originalnog zapisa i krajnje, otisnute reprodukcije. Da bi početni i krajnji, otisnuti rezultat bio kolorimetrijski isti uobičajena je upotreba profila. Ovi profili se moraju adaptirati mediju na kojemu se otiskuje, budući da različite podloge imaju različite mogućnosti ispisa. Cilj je biti u mogućnosti dobiti željeni otisak neovisno o tiskanom ili digitalnom mediju na kojemu se prikazuje. Profili boja služe toj svrsi, a njihova primjena je vrlo uobičajena. U cilju potvrde svrhe profila boja, ovaj rad se bavi istraživanjem kolorimetrijskih razlika između tri različita standardizirana profila. Boje koje su uzete u razmatranje su sigurne web boje, a poseban naglasak je stavljen na ograničenje svake boje radi boljeg razumijevanja profila boja i color managementa. Rezultati pokazuju znatna ostupanja kolorimetrijskih vrijednosti između profila.

Adapting secure web colors for the printing environment

In the reproduction process of a digital record to a printed media there is a changeover of the color system from an additive one to subtractive color mixing, during which there may be results like unwanted colorimetric differences between the original record and the final printed reproduction. Profiles are usually used in order to have the initial record and the final printed results identical as to colorimetrics. Due to the fact that different substrates have different possibilities for printing, these profiles must be adapted to the media on which they are printed. The goal is to have the possibility of obtaining the desired print regardless of the type of media where it is printed. Color profiles are used for such purposes, and their application is very usual. This paper is on the research of colorimetric differences between three different standardized profiles in order to confirm the reason for using color profiles. The colors chosen for analysing are secure web colors, and special stress is given to limiting each color in order to have a better understanding of color profiles and color management. The results show significant colorimetric value discrepancies between the profiles.
