Mental ray - iscrtavanje i vizualizacija računalne grafike Zvonimir Sabati, Andrija Bernik Tema ovog rada je Mental Ray. Ideja je istražiti mogućnosti i dosege Mental Ray-a kroz izradu animacije u Autodesk Maya software-u.. Prikazane su neke značajke i naprednije mogućnosti, kao i načini korištenja ovoga alata. Istražene i prikazane su alternativne mogućnosti koje korisnik može odabrati ovisno o potrebama, te se prikazuju metode teksturiranja koje su podržane od strane Mental Ray-a. U radu je pobliže opisan njegov značaj od polja računalne grafike pa do industrije zabave, te njegov utjecaj na iste. The idea is to explore the possibilities and achievements of Mental Ray through creation of animation in Autodesk Maya software. The paper shows some of the features and advanced capabilities, as well as the ways of using this tool. Alternative engines are researched and presented that user can select depending on its needs. Texturing methods which are supported by the Mental Ray are discussed and shown also.
