Glavna razlika između 3D CNC sistema, koji su poznati, koji režu i bacaju ostatak materijala kako bi se dobio željeni oblik budućeg modela, i 3D sustavi tiskanja kao što su SLS (selektivno lasersko sinteriranje), FDM (fused deposition modeling) i SLA (stereo-litografi ja) tiskarski strojevi koji su izgradili model sloj po sloj. Sistemi su opisani u radu, uključujući mnoge svrhe i korištenja opisane moderne tehnologije, kao što su kućanski predmeti, medicina, arhitektura, itd. Main diff erence between 3D CNC systems, which are well known, which cut and discard material residue for gaining wanted shape of future model, and 3D printing systems such as SLS (selective laser sintering), FDM (fused deposition modeling) and SLA (stereolithography) printing machines which build model layer by layer.
