Sažetak

Otpornost premaznih papira prema površinskom oštećenju u procesu savijanja predstavlja bitnu karakteristiku podloge za štampu u današnjoj grafi čkoj industriji. Prekomerne sile zateznaja, koje se javljanju u spoljašnjim slojevima materijala u procesu savijanja, uzrokuju razna površinska oštećenja u vidu belih linija na štampanoj podlozi, kao i smanjenu sveukupnu čvrstoću materijala. Pored testiranja osnovnih mehaničkih karakteristika, u poslednjih nekoliko godina su se pojavile i računarski potpomognute metode za određivanje količine površinskih oštećenja premaznih papira. Pomenute metode primenjuju sličan koncept digitalne analize slika, ali se razlikuju u određenim segmentima pripreme uzoraka, načina digitalizacije i procesa evaulacije. U ovom radu je izvršena uporedna analiza postojećih računarski potpomognutih metoda za vizuelnu procenu otpornosti premaznih papira prema površinskom oštećenju u procesu savijanja.

Abstract

Fold-crack resistance of coated papers is today an important raw material property in printing industry. High-localized tension stresses are acting on the paper surfaces during the folding process, causing white crack lines in the coating layer of the printed substrates and reduced overall material strength. Among the basic mechanical material testing techniques, computer-based assessment methods were introduced and used in the last couple of years to determine the amount of surface damage on the coated papers. Th ese quality assessment methods use a similar concept of digital image analysis, but they diff er in the details in certain aspects of sample preparation, digitalisation techniques and evaluation process. Th is study represents a comparative analysis of existing computer-aided methods for visual assessment of fold-crack resistance of coated paper.
