Ključne riječi: infrareddesign, dvostruka informacija na tekstilnoj presvlaci, visible spectrum, near infra red Design of double information on the textile material on a hardcover books Mario Barišić, Ivana Žiljak Stanimirović, Denis Jurečić Abstract In the realistic inkjet production of printing on a textile coating material for a hard covered book, double und undercover image was set under the rules of Infrared design. By applying the theory of IR design the experiment of setting double and hidden information was applied in the experiment pattern. Protocol of a managing process in a visible and near infrared space was settled with a colour settings for a conventional printing process for an Inkjet printing. Pattern printed with a mentioned protocol was named as “printed pattern with an infrared effect” characterized by delimited state information in VS (visible spectrum) and NIR (near infra red) part of the spectrum. The possibility of printing double and hidden information on a textile material was created, without raising the cost of production or changing conventional production workflows in any manner. The result of the experiment will provide a basis for creative possibility of implementing encoded information in the textile printing material and that possibility can be used successfully in the industry of the hardcover book production, as well as additional similar production, with a using of same settings and same textile printing materials. It has also been proven in realistic production experiment with a hardcover book “Lexicon of Croatian writers” in which was posted, as a hidden information, portrait of a Croatian writer Miroslav Krleža. Such set of printing protocols and routines can provide extremely valuable added possibilities for a textile and printing industry, with a whole new dimension of possible applications. It can enable and provide - in the creative book publishing segment – the new and advance principles of design publishing products - primarily in the area of dual use of the information’s, as the addition of possible new publishing messages - made equivalent to conventional printing technology.
